The are eight private man-made lakes in Hot Springs Village.  Seven of the lakes are for recreation and one is the reservoir for the community's drinking water.  All lakes except Lake Lago, the village reservoir, provide an excellent opportunity for swimming, boating and fishing.

The Marina at Lake Desoto has fishing boats, paddleboats, canoes, and party barges for rent as well as fishing equipment, bait and fuel for sale.

The Marina at Lake Balboa offers fishing and pontoon boat rentals, mini and dry storage, boat slip rentals, bait sales and a gas station.

Golf

After viewing the picture above, I am sure any golf lover can't wait to here about the courses.  Hot Springs Village has seven 18-hole courses.  These courses are available for use by property owners and guests.  Each course has a golf shop at which cart rentals, equipment and clothing are available.  Six of the courses are par 72 and have practice ranges and putting greens.  The other course is a par 62 and also has a practice putting green.

TENNIS

The Coronado Tennis Facility has 13 tennis courts.  This center consists of seven hard courts and 6 clay courts.  All of your needs are taken care of at the Coronada Tennis Center.  They have a Pro shop with tennis equipment for rent and a Tennis professional is available to help with your game.

GAMES

The Desoto games area has something for everyone.  It is open year round, weather permitting.  It offers miniature golf; three lighted tennis courts, two basketball courts, shuffleboard, disc golf, playground and games building.

SWIMMING

The Coronado Natatorium and Fitness Center offers a weight room, exercise room, 25-meter swimming pool, children's wading pool, saunas, whirlpool and locker rooms.  The facility is open daily year round with towel and lockers available for rental.  Lifeguards are on duty during hours of operation.

The Desoto swimming pool offers a wading pool for young children, a diving pool with two diving boards, a swimming pool ranging from three to five feet deep, and a bathhouse with showers.  Lifeguards are on duty during hours of operation.

MORE PERKS
